Nintendo has announced a new game from the Animal Crossing series for smartphones that would arrive in late November. Called Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the game is close on heels with the other games from the series, which adapts a gameplay where the player gets to customize homes as the character moves to new locations and interact with the animal inhabitants.
However, Pocket Camp will feature a camping theme, with which you will be building a campsite instead of homes. That should make the game a bit smaller, compared to the bigger scaled cities and towns as in the previous games in the series.
Pocket Camp puts its main focus over furniture crafting. Players will have to rely on materials found across the areas for that. The camper van home is customizable like it has been with homes. Players will be able to trade items with their friends. It also features additional staples like countdown timers and micro-transactions.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will be available on both iOS and Android devices in November. The game has started showing up for users in Australia according to some reports.
You should expect the game to be just a ‘pocket’ version of the original Animal Crossing game. A fully fledged mobile version of Animal Crossing was said to be in the works, but that appears nowhere near the horizon at the moment.
