Activision and Sledgehammer Games have revealed the new Call of Duty WW2 trailer alongside unfurling other gameplay details and release date
Like promised, Activision and developers Sledgehammer Games have debuted the new Call of Duty WW2 trailer handing us the initial gameplay footages. The trailer was aired through a live-stream following the teaser announcement. Alongside, they have also revealed the gameplay details of the game besides dropping the information that the game would be arriving on the first Friday of November.
The trailer depicts the scenes from Normandy, Hurtgen Forest and other locations where the gameplay will be taking place. It also features the characters of Josh Duhamel and Technical Sergeant Willian Pierson. A few screenshots of the game have also been revealed. You can watch the Call of Duty WW2 trailer below.

Call of Duty WW2 will be heading out on the first Friday of November, i.e. on November 3 this year. This is inclined with the previous leak that suggested the same release date alongside other information, all of which has been now confirmed. The game will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms. A preorder beta will be going live ahead of the release, the dates of which hasn’t been confirmed yet.
The main campaign will revolve around the battle of the 1st Infantry Division of the US armed forces in Europe during the World War times. This will include the D-Day invasion of Normandy, which will be the highlight of Call of Duty WW2, and also the Battle of the Bulge. Players will primarily take up the role of the young and inexperienced Private Red Daniels. However, there will be additional missions including the one where you play as a woman fighting in the French resistance.
The full details of multi-player mode are yet unknown, as Activision will be detailing them only during E3 this June. But as far as we know, the multiplayer mode will have a new addition in the form of Headquarters that will serve as the socializing hub with features like recognition and awards. There will also be a new War Mode with which players can take part in iconic World War II battles that will be objective-focused. The mode will feature an Axis vs Allied gameplay, and players can choose class-like Divisions including Infantry and Armored Divisions.
The teaser from Sledgehammer is that co-op will yet again have something to do with the zombies. The mode will feature an entirely new story with added horrifying elements. The story will follow the attempt of Third Reich during the final stages of the war to create an army.
Pre-orders of the game will hand over access to the private beta of Call of Duty WW2, the dates of which hasn’t been yet confirmed. This applies to pre-orders made for all the available bundles, which are Base Edition ($59), Digital Deluxe Edition ($100 with season pass and more), and Pro Edition, ($100 with season pass, collectible steelbook and more). The latter is exclusive to GameStop. Pre-orders made through GameStop will also present the gamers with a limited edition hat.
