Following the official announcement and the revelation of in-game screenshots, Bandai Namco is taking us more close to the gameplay elements of its upcoming action RPG, Code Vein, with the new announcement trailer
The first trailer of the upcoming action role-playing game, Code Vein, has been revealed by publisher Bandai Namco. This follows the official revelation of the game that took place a few days ago with the help of a series of screenshots.
The trailer reveals takes us far more into the gameplay of Code Vein, and reveals much more than what was experienced through the teaser that was released prior to its announcement. The general combat of the game is more to be seen, and a few bosses are also introduced alongside.
The companion feature that will be included in the game has also been briefly detailed. With the feature, players will be able to take a partner with them into the game world. Right companions that complement your gameplay will help you add an extra layer of strategy to take down the challenging enemies.
Other details covered include character abilities, and yes, they do involve a lot of blood.
What’s even more evident is the pure inspiration of Code Vein from Dark Souls with bigger adaptations of elements like towering enemies and moody atmospheres. With the curtains being brought down for Dark Souls, it would be interesting to see if Code Vein would be able to carry forward the same excitement that was generated by Dark Souls.
Code Vein is scheduled for a release in 2018. The platforms are yet to be announced. Check the trailer below.
