Crash Bandicoot has pipped Splatoons 2 to the top spot in UK charts, courtesy of Activision’s injection of more stock into the retail.
Crash Bandicoot is back at the top spot in the UK. The latest chart from GfK places Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy on the No.1 spot in UK sales for the previous week.
Activision has gushed the stocks of Crash Bandicoot last week in stores, which had ensured its return to the top spot in the UK sales chart. The leader of last week, Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age has been pushed down to No.7 following a drop of almost 85%. Crash Bandicoot has garnered a positive peak with sales upped by around 60% this week. The game also now shares the tile of most weeks at UK No.1 for a PS4 exclusive, a title it shares with The Last of Us: Remastered.
The leader is followed by debutant Splatoon 2, which missed out on debuting as No.1 by a narrow 700 points. That’s according to Christoper Dring of GamesINdustry.biz, who has tweeted that it fell short of the leader by only 678 units.
