Bungie has officially announced the sequel to 2014 RPG Destiny with an official poster of Destiny 2 through its Twitter account
Destiny 2 is now official. Developers Bungie has officially made the announcement with a tweet that revealed the first official poster of the action RPG sequel.
Certainly, the sequel comes as no big surprise, as Destiny 2 has been in the rumor mills for quite a while. But obviously, there should be a point where the developers up the hype by making it official, and fans would be excited to know that the stage has now been surpassed.
The tweet, given below, depicts the same image that was leaked last week by an Italian retailer. Interestingly, Twitter user Nibel has compared the artwork of the successor with the original Destiny to come up with the suggestion that the Last City – the location of the Tower in Destiny- is what’s seen burning in the new teaser image.

We can’t yet be sure of that. The official poster also lacks any other details. The one leaked have mentioned a release date of September 8, alongside giving out the information that the beta would be made available on PlayStation 4 first.
