The Division to be Free to Play This Weekend on All Platforms

The right time has come for those who are yet to try The Division with the game going FTP this weekend

Haven’t laid your hands upon Ubisoft’s The Division yet? If you have been waiting for the right time for it, then it’s here.

The Division will be opened up for all this weekend at no cost on all platforms as per the announcement made by Ubisoft Massive today.

The game will be available free to play for the entire weekend on all the platforms, which include PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox one. The latter would require gamers to bear the Xbox Live Gold account in order to play online.

The trials will start on May 4 for PC and will run through May 7th, while PS4 and Xbox One users from specific regions get to play an added day with the windows coming to a close on May 8th for the respective consoles. The exact timings can be noted from the image below.

Users can experience the entire game and contents under the weekend program. This is different from the existing free trial version of the game that let players enjoy only six hours of gameplay, or up to eight levels, whichever comes first.

The progress made during the free-to-play duration can also be carried over if the full version of the game is purchased at any point later on.

Ubisoft is also lining up offers to compel you to pursuit the game once the free run comes to a close. As a result, gamers can grab the game at 60% discount that applies to both the standard and Gold Edition of The Division. The latter will include the Season Pass as well. Discounts will be made available on all digital stores.
