The first game from the Gran Turismo Sport to embrace the PlayStation 4 has now an official release date, which was revealed through a reveal trailer by Sony
Sony has officially revealed the release date for Gran Turismo Sport. The first game from the series for the PlayStation 4 platform will be embracing the new console on October 17 in the US.
The date was announced through a new reveal trailer, which you can watch below. The US release will be followed by a European/Australian release on the following day, i.e. on October 18.
Gran Turismo Sport 4 will be arriving on PlayStation 4 with 4K support on 60 FPS. HDR support will also be there to boost the gaming experience. The racer, which is exclusive to PS4, is being developed to support PlayStation VR. Sony has however dropped features like dynamic time and weather to compensate for the frame rate and quality drop. Players can set the time and weather before the start of the race though.
Sony has earlier delayed the launch of the game from 2016, with a later assurance that the game would be arriving on fall this year. The announcement now gives a confirmed date that follows the winding up of the closed beta that has been running for quite a time. Sony has also revealed the box art of the game along with the Steelbook and Collector’s Edition.
