The Hogwarts letter for Kinect has arrived and the title will board the console this autumn. Microsoft and Warner Bros have announced the famous Harry Potter for Xbox 360.
The game is being developed by studio Eurocom, who are famous for developing Goldeneye 007: Legends and Dead Space: Extraction. Samantha Ryan, Warner Interactive’s senior VP of production and development said that, “Harry Potter for Kinect will engage Harry Potter fans old and new by bringing them into the wizarding world as truly active participants.”
You will get to play several key moments from the book, or the scenes from the films, and will be able to cast spells all around. The voice recognition feature will tune in to your voice when you shout out spells.
If playing in the shoes of your favorite character is not enough, then you can create your very own witch or wizard. Your avatar will accompany the golden trio (Harry, Ron and Hermione) on their adventures.
Polish your wand and keep your spells ready. This autumn you will be able to play Quidditch, battle pixies and duel with dark wizards.
