The HTC Vive virtual reality headset is now retailing at a price that’s $100 less than its launch price. Additional offers are available in Microsoft Store too
Disappointed after missing out on the $100 discount on HTC Vive during Black Friday sales? Well, it’s time for you to cheer up, as HTC Vive VR headset is now back with the same offer for the holidays.
Vive, which launched with a price-tag of $800, is now retailing in Amazon and HTC Store for a price $699, $100 less than its launch price. It should sound a good deal for those who have VR-capable PCs. The discount also takes the pricing of Vive- the costliest VR headset- closer to that of Oculus Rift, which retails at $600 sans the Oculus Touch controllers.
The $700 bundle will come with the Vive VR headset, two SteamVR wireless controllers, headphone, and two base stations that are trackers of your movement, making way for room-scale virtual reality. The bundle will also offer free copies of Zombie Training Simulator and The Gallery-Episode 1: Call of Starseed.
But if you are concerned of those additional games, you can head to Microsoft Store to grab additional perks along with the $100 discount. This include a $100 Microsoft Store gift card that can be used to usher your festive season purchase. There’s no word on how long the offer will be staying up, so make sure you don’t think twice if you have got the plans to grab a piece.
