Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Tops UK Weekly Chart Yet Again

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has retained its top spot in UK sales chart for the third consecutive week despite having a dip of sales globally

UK is showering love over the latest warfare game from Activision from the Call of Duty Franchise. According to the latest weekly report from Cart-Track, Infinite Warfare has yet again emerged as the top-selling physical game in the UK.

That makes it three running weeks on top for Infinite Warfare in UK charts. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which released on November 4, was also the became the top selling title on the UK sales charts during its launch week.

Following its dethroning, Infinite Warfare came back to top on the charts with the week ended December 10, and it’s still continuing its impressive run across UK. The game has sold over 1.8 million copies in its first week.

Black Ops 3 and Advanced Warfare from the franchise have also managed to attain similar feet by staying atop the UK charts on the Christmas day. Despite doing bad business relative to those games, Infinite Warfare managed to claim some achievements along its way, and it include grabbing the top spot in digital sales in UK during November. The game was also the No.1 selling PSN game in the previous month.

As with the other games in the list, FIFA 17 has managed to hang on to the second spot, maintaining the spot for the third consecutive week. It’s followed by Battlefield 1, Watch Dogs 2, and Grand Theft Auto V at third, fourth and fifth spot respectively. Mafia III has surprisingly fallen to sixth spot. The entire top ten list for the week ended December 24 can be viewed below.
