Limited Run, who had previously brought around physical editions of Indie PS4 and PS Vita games will embrace a new path by rolling out Switch cartridges.
Gamers fond of collecting physical copies of Indie games should be familiar with this name – Limited Run. It’s the company that has shown up as saviors of many indie games, presenting them as physical versions in a situation where the developers cannot afford to do so.
Limited Run has been a handful collection of games for consoles including PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. But moving ahead, they will be embracing a different route by releasing cartridges for Nintendo Switch.
The company has announced that it has received the license to print Nintendo Switch cartridges. This would sound a great deal for indie game collectors among the others. Limited Run will start publishing the games for the new console by next year. A specific date will be announced later. There are no other details regarding the deal or future plans available as of now. We will update once we get to know more about the plans of the company regarding Switch cartridges.

The news follows Sony’s recent announcement of publishing Indie titles for Switch and other consoles under its newly formed label Unties. Indeed, it’s good days ahead for indie game lovers and indie developers pursuing to deploy their game on the latest micro-hybrid console from Nintendo.
