Overwatch Season 6 competitive play will wind up its two-month ride by this weekend to be followed by the kick-start of Season 7
Blizzard has spilled the beans over when the curtains will be brought down to Overwatch’s Season 6 Competitive Play.
As per the official words, Season 6 of Overwatch Competitive Play will get winded up on October 28 at 5 pm PT, 8 pm ET, which is October 29 in Europe, at midnight GMT. Following the end, Blizzard will kick-start Season 7 three days later, i.e. on October 31 (November 1 in Europe) at the same times.
Some might be wondering why the latest season lasted for just two months. But those who have followed the words would know the reason. Blizzard has earlier outlined its plans this summer to limit the duration of every season to two months.
Players who have completed at least their placement matches will be eligible to access the Season 6 spray and player icon once the season winds up. Those who have raked up to the top 500 from their region will be rewarded with an additional player icon and animated spray.
Players will also be able to buy exclusive gold skins depending on the CP they have earned. Players with around 1750 CP can get it translated to SR 4000-5000 ( Grandmaster), while those with the least of 65 CP will get translated to a maximum of SR 1499 (Bronze).
