The free games lined up for PlayStation Plus subscribers won’t be the same for players from Europe and North America this time
Sony has revealed the games that will be up for grabs at no cost for the subscribers of PlayStation Plus. Interestingly, the free games available won’t be same for players across the globe, as Sony has tweaked the list slightly for those from Europe and North America.
PSP subscribers in North America will be offered two games for free in May. Those are Abzu and Telltale’s Tales from the Borderlands. The latter game was regarded as one of the best from Telltale’s in recent times. Equally applauded Abzu will offer underwater adventure to the players with its distinct and visually awe-inspiring setting that puts players in a highly compelling adventure.
PSP subscribers in Europe will be able to claim Telltale’s Tales from the Borderlands, but instead of Abzu, they will be offered Housemarque’s Alienation. This might sound disappointing to those who was waiting to have an underwater adventure, but Alienation is one of its own that can be enjoyed best both in co-op and solo mode. The twin-stick shooter with its top-down loot shooter gameplay offers stunning moment-to-moment action, so it shouldn’t let you down.
It’s not for the first time that Sony is offering different lists of games for the two continents. They still have managed to keep the difference minimal and offer the best for the two regions. Thumbs up for that.
