Capcom has also aired a reveal trailer that showcases all the fighting skills of Ed including his Psycho Snatcher V-Skill that drags opponents towards him
Street Fighter 5 is having a new roster addition, and it’s Ed who appeared in Balrog’s ending in Super Street Fighter 4. That also confirms a couple of leaks that emerged last week related to Balrog’s protege.
With the addition, Ed will be marking the playable debut in Street Fighter. Capcom has also aired a reveal trailer that showcases all the fighting skills of Ed. The footage highlights his fight with M. Bison.
Some of his skills include the Psycho Snatcher V-Skill that drags opponents towards him. The V-Trigger is the Psycho Cannon that creates a ball of Psycho energy that marches towards the enemies with a slow pace. The Psycho Barrage Critical Art imposes heavy punches upon enemies enhanced by Psycho energy. Check all of them in the below video.
Ed has been raised by Balrog, and his fighting style is inclined towards boxing. Simultaneously, he can also utilize kicks contrary to his mentor.
There’s no exact release date for the new character as Capcom has just mentioned that he will be joining Street Fighter V soon. But players can get a knack of the new fighter with the Capcom Fighters Network Beta that will be open from May 11 until May 14.
The beta will be available for all on PS4 and PC platforms and will also support cross-play. The beta will also include all the previously released DLC characters.
