By on June 1, 2012

The new Tomb Raider trailer furls out some of the remorseless moments of Lara Croft in her latest title, a revamp to define a new series telling her origin as an adventure. Stranded on a mysterious island after the ship wreck, Lara who is severely wounded finds the place infested by some cult humans.

Set in the form of an open world, she will be provided with surviving tools and weapons in the course of the gameplay and her skill level improvements. Fall 2012 was the first proposed time for the release but recently it has been pushed back and is now confirmed with a March 5, 2013 release date.

Developers, Crystal Dynamics’, head of the studio Darrell Gallagher mentioned that the delay was for attaining the finest level of polishing for the game and that they are hoping this title would be the best work from the whole Tomb Raider Franchise. The trailer will give you some true cinematic experience with the horrifying survival elements.

The heavily modified Crystal Engine is delivering fine performance with the visuals. Tomb Raider will have versions for PC, Mac, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U

That’s quite a lot of platforms to enjoy from! Expect more details during this E3 taking place from June 4 to 7.
